We are delighted to announce the appointment of Brian Vasey as Lyndale United Senior Coach for the upcoming 2009 season.

Brian brings a wealth of knowledge and experience having played top level football in both England and Australia, and is also a highly qualified coach.

The committee see this as a major step in achieving our 4-year goal, in getting Lyndale United back into the State League.

I’m sure you will all welcome Brian to Lyndale United and prove that this decision was the correct one. Whilst we see Lyndale United as a social club, make no mistake we are also about winning. With the nucleus of the young squad we currently have, I really feel that the next few years will be extremely successful at Lyndale United.

On that note I would like to announce that the Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday November 20^th at 7:30pm. Following the meeting, the club will be putting on a BBQ. We expect all Players and Members to attend, as this will be a great opportunity to meet our new coach and committee members.
